Matthew reviewed Opto-Réseau St-Lazare

Avoid this place. Got an appointment for driving glasses (i don't wear or need glasses for reading/watching TV/using the computer/etc, but wanted to see the road signs better while driving). The optometrist Catherine Pellerin, gave me a wrong prescription so when they made the glasses, the my entire world went wonky. If I looked at the steering wheel, the left side looked like it was 12" further away than the right side, so it seemed I was driving a crocked car. I immediately went back to the store and they were trying to convince me that i had to train my eyes to get used to them. I basically asked her how can I train my eyes with these glasses if I only wear them while I was driving (maybe 1 hour per day at most)??? After a bit of back and forth, they finally agreed to remake the glasses, and that they would just arbitrarily adjust the prescription without even re-checking my eyes. Anyway, now that a month and a half has passed, I still don't have my glasses, nor a proper prescription. However, I already paid 50% when I got my optometrist exam and the balance 50% when I picked up my glasses the first time. Today, I went back to the store and asked for a full credit, and the store manager refused... I will now have to file a formal complaint against this incompetent doctor (Catherine Pellerin) and the store itself. The store manager is a con artist... and makes ridiculous false claims. Avoid this store and doctor!
