sold me a stolen motor. recently bought a motor from northern lakes marine. met with an employee named shawn. he told me it was his personal motor and that he was the original owner from new. paid $1400 cash for the motor. motor turned out to be stolen from rama area and was turned over to police. went back to northern marine looking for shawn and my money. shawn was out on a service call. talked to the owner RYAN MACK and told him what happened. then the owner RYAN tells me that he just bought the motor cheap from just some guy that brought it in saying he was hard up for cash. he then told his employee(shawn) to post it and resell it for him. when I mentioned the story I got from his employee about the history of the motor, he didn't even care. told me you all way's run the risk of it being stolen when buying a used motor. far as he's concerned he's a victim like me and does not owe me anything. I would not recommend to anybody to deal with northern marine. dishonest owner RYAN MACK and employees. lots of other options out there.
