Ivy Mortensen reviewed Clearview Chiropractic - Dr. Peter Angerilli

Very disappointed with this self-important doc. Came in to try as I needed another back up chiropractor when mine was away. Currently without benefits and only working very part time, so the free assessment advertised was tempting, both for financial as well as practical reasons. Don't want to pay more than the adjustment fee for a doc I may not like. Immediately, the "free" consult turned into a "let's put you on a schedule" . Heard that before and avoided these chiropractors in the past. A lot of talk about the "value" for money I would have to shell out, even with a discount. No appreciation for my own knowledge of my body and needs, but just useless banter on his merits and almost a bartering happening. Sitting there, in pain, I realized that not only would I never want to see this doctor again, I wasn't sure despite the pain that I wanted him touching me. To make the visit really complete, he announced that he was off in less than an hour and could not adjust me today in any case, even were I to run to get the xrays he needed immediately. Wow! This guy should be selling used cars and not practicing medicine. His last words were, "appreciate your situation, but I cannot help you". Insinuating that unless I would be prepared to agree to his schedule, I was not going to get help I needed, in spite of the visible pain I was in. Ah, Hippocratic Oath, doc?
