We searched out a number of companies and ended up using Holland since they were priced in the middle in their quote. Also the BBB had no negative reviews/complaints. When we contracted Holland for the re-roofing job, it took them over a month to begin work and nearly 2 weeks of time to complete the job (which is very long, not including some weather delays). There was a short WorkSafe BC delay in the process too. When the roof was completed an independent inspector found some minor building code deficiencies. The property was also not properly cleared of debris and a number of things left undone which resulted in lots of time wasted chasing after them, to eventually get finished. They are generally courteous, but lack professionalism in their customer service and communications. There still remains some minor things that need attention but I ended up doing it myself (because of the foregoing reasons).
