sI used to work at children's house. Its a great environment and has a great cook, but it is ran very poorly. I would never put my own children in the daycare or day homes. A couple years back this was the best place to bring your children and work at. Now staff are lazy including the director and staff are terrible to the children. Staff are treated unfairly and made to feel like they are not part of a team. Licensing was called in on a complaint of child discipline saw it on alberta government web page. This does NOT surprise me one bit. From the verbal sarcasim from the kindergarten teacher to the physical and emtional abuse of the one other staff who i will not mention. Im surprised all they got was a verbal warning! The day home providers are lazy and have poor quality child care. Really consider the needs of you child/ren before taking them to either the day care or day homes. Ask yourself..would you feel comfortable knowing your child was not getting the very best quality care?
