Company description

A new partnership has been announced by Great Gulf Residential and Dream Unlimited Corp to redevelop the Victory Soya Mills Silos site at 351-369 Lake Shore Boulevard East, in Toronto, Canada. The initial application is for a 50 storey mixed-use tower which will be bordered by Lake Ontario to the South and Lake Shore Boulevard to the North.

Lake Shore Boulevard East has seen many new and exciting condominium developments over the past few years, and the Victory Silo Condos is sure to be a landmark site for the city. The Silos have been a part of the Toronto Lake Front for over 70 years, and as one of Toronto's Heritage properties. The property covers an area of approximately 5.3 Acres and will bring together the talents of these2 extraordinary developers to revitalize and renew the area in what is expected to be a future hub of development for the city.

A new Light Rail Transit line will be running along the planned Queens Quay extension to Cherry Street which will help in servicing and enhancing the area. Local amenities include the entertainment areas and lake shore pathways as well as the T&T Supermarket on Cherry Street. You can also follow the walking or biking trail North along the Don River.

The Don River itself is expected to undergo revitalization in the coming years to reduce the need for trawling in the channel and adding natural park areas as well as wetlands in the Port Lands Area for better water management. This further increases the desirability of the site as a long-term investment opportunity for potential home owners.

The site is also in walking distance to Corktown and the Distillery District, and is a 20 minute walk from the St. Lawrence Market.

To the east of the site is the proposed 3C Waterfront Development, which includes a proposed pedestrian bridge across the channel to be located in front of the Victory Silo Condos.
