She took a roundabout route to running her own firm, starting her working career in sales, where she has 15 years of experience, and another 13 years as a real estate investor in Hawaii. She now keeps her investing in Edmonton, but feels that such varied experience gives her great insight as to how business finances operate.
She received her Diploma in Business Accounting with Honors from the Centre For Distance Education. She has spent the last years focusing on the construction industry, and the specific needs they have for bookkeeping. She attends continuing education courses to keep up with new developments in the industry and keep her skills sharp. She maintains membership with several organizations, including:
