Peak Audio Video, formerly known as Miknor Audio, has been the music lover’s unique resource approaching 40 years – since 1978. Mike Merrigan Jr. and his father Mike Merrigan Sr started out importing and distributing HiFi products out of the UK and into the Canadian market in the late 70’s and early 80’s under the name Miknor Audio. One week after Mike Sr. retired from his administrative position at a local university, he and his son re-branded under the name Peak Audio Ltd (1986). The company’s operations are presently under the control of a third generation director – Michael Merrigan III.
Peak Audio Video was the first company in Atlantic Canada to offer residential A/V pre-wiring and custom installation services. We have since grown to become the Premier Audio Video retail outlet for HOME AUTOMATION AND OUTFITTING CONDOMINIUMS, HOUSES, AND VARIOUS COMMERCIAL VENUES. Our staff holds some of the most technical and professional designations that are available in the industry today. The experts at Peak have been responsible for executing some of the most innovative home theater, 2 channel, and home automation setups in Atlantic Canada.
