Dr. Don Fan is a Registered Acupuncturist, and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Fan has served patients in his downtown Calgary clinic for over 20 years. Orient Medicine Acupuncture Clinic is located next to the Calgary Tower. Dr. Fan views Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as holistic in its approach and differs from pharmaceutical medicine. Accordingly, every aspect of a person—body, mind, spirit, and emotions is viewed as part of one complete circle rather than loosely connected pieces to be treated individually. Dr. Fan specalizes in the treatment of musculo-skeletal conditions such as Pain, swelling, stiffness and weakness due to different types of arthritis, tendonitis, injuries, sprains, spasm, motor vehicle accidents, irritated nerves or fibromyalgia. He practices a variety of modalities including acupuncture, acupressure (Tui Na Massage), herbal therapy, Qigong and Chinese psychology.
