Dr. Mathew Plant is a Plastic Surgeon with passion in both Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is Board-Certified in Plastic Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Plant is rapidly getting a reputation for being one of the most meticulous and talented surgeons throughout the area. Dr. Plant grew up in Toronto and went to the University of Waterloo for his undergraduate studies. After scoring in the 99th percentile on his MCATs, Dr. Plant was taken early to the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. During medical school, Dr. Plant wrote and published numerous journal articles, including a groundbreaking paper describing a one-stage technique for breast reconstruction after cancer, the first of its kind inside Canada. His specialties include, but are not limited to, breast enhancement, breast implant revision, and mommy makeovers which may include a tummy tuck or liposuction. In Toronto, Dr. Plant is among the few plastic surgeons in Canada that provide all sorts and brands of breast implants, including Allergan, Mentor, and the new IDEAL Implant. He takes a custom, individualized approach to plastic surgery, and gives intense focus to every procedure. Dr. Plant looks at what will be the perfect fit for the patient and what will complement their current features to make them look and feel their best. To bring the best results, he develops a custom-tailored plan for each individual patient. "It's your life and your experiences that make up who you are.
