Lisa Dennis has been an occupational therapist since 1999 working with a diverse clientele. She has extensive experience in community home-care working with adult and geriatric populations with physical disabilities. In addition, she has spent 4 years working in northern Labrador offering mental health and addictions services as well as school pediatric interventions with aboriginal youth-at-risk aged 6 to 24 years. She has also delivered different life skills courses to aboriginal inmates at a correctional facility, provided front-line suicide crisis intervention and created innovative programs for capacity building. She has most recently worked with active military members suffering from PTSD, mild traumatic brain injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal injuries.
Lisa's passion is to help her patients to reach their full potential despite their illness or disability using a rehabilitation approach. She offers services in both English and French and is licensed in Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec.
