Kitra was started by Vancouver entrepreneurs Anthony Pavlakovic and Toddy Pretty because no one in North America was refinishing kitchen cabinetry and other millwork to a factory-grade level. Everything that was being done was unfortunately of low-quality, highly temporary and would rarely ever meet the demands of interior designers, architects and licensed general contractors. Kitra wanted to change this.

Our lacquer has zero hazardous pollutants, contains no formaldehyde, is non-flammable, is non off-gassing, and conforms to the strictest health-based program requirements (LEED & Green Seal).
