Prior to starting Kerr & Company, Chris started his career working for a smaller, boutique accounting firm followed by a large international accounting firm where he focussed on small business and taxation while completing his CGA. In addition, Chris held the position of Chief Financial Officer for a publicly listed mining company. Chris graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1999 earning a Bachelor of Arts and completing a Diploma in Accounting where he also played Varsity Hockey for the UBC Thunderbirds. Providing timely professional services that are reliable, accessible and impactful is important to Chris. Clients appreciate his sensible, realistic, and down-to-earth approach to arriving at practical and feasible solutions to their business needs. An active family man, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing hockey, hiking and skiing.
