Our advice…. Stay away. Son ( Adam ) is now running the business and he is awful.
Our place was built in 2018. They tell you that they will inspect the home one year after the build. It took us almost 2yrs, with persistent request to inspect before they showed up.
Very noticeable drywall crack in the ceiling where prefab is joined together as well as over several windows. Caulking that is done in the factory has separated from walls and looks terrible and issues with their flooring that were recognized but never dealt with
Have spoken with others in my area who had their houses built before our and Adam never did do the year inspection that they were supposed to have also.
I honestly do not like to make poor reviews but this guy is useless. Very deceitful and a cowardly liar…. Always says he’ll look into issues and get back to you when you speak with him in person, then walks away and you don’t hear from him again.
Some children take over a family business and maintain it well or improve on it….this is not the current situation with Barrie Builds.
