Update: My dog has attended a day care at a different facility for the last 5 months. There have been NO issues and NO injuries. The staff rave about what a sweetheart of a dog he is and report they have never had a challenge with him. We also spend time at the city off leash parks with no issues. After my dog received these injuries at D.O.G.S, I asked specifically if he had ever shown any signs of aggression and was told "no". This is also the first time I have heard someone reference what happened as a "fight". Perhaps if staff would have been open to communication throughout this incident we both would have stronger understandings of what really happened. Please be careful where you leave your pets. No matter where you are considering... Research, Research, Research!

My dog was attacked at this day care..... They claim he was being supervised but are unable to tell me what caused his injuries???? My 9 month old dog required stitches in 3 different areas (both cheeks and on his back).... he had numerous other superficial wounds. When discussing this incident with the owner she seemed to not care and saw no real need to make changes. Her response on how her business practice would change is to have the dogs kenneled. ENSURE TO CAREFULLY CHECK THIS PLACE OUT PRIOR TO TRUSTING THEM WITH YOUR DOG.

Some breeds are harder to socialize . Some breeds are more likely to get close to only one person . Some breeds you can't see the eyes so the dogs think the dog is staring at them which can be a threat . Also the stance of a dog can start a fight . Which I believe all these facts played a role in the situation. Not all dogs or pups are suitable for daycare .
