His fourth album, Everywhere from Here, consisted of 11 of his own compositions, arranged by Brian Gagnon. His best selling composition, Canadian Summer, was performed at the 125th Anniversary of the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto by the Canada Pops Orchestra. Nesbitt has his own record label, Music from Latitude 44N Inc., incorporated in 1989. His music has been endorsed by AM1060/CKMX, Calgary, the official radio station for Alberta’s Centennial, the Hans Selye Foundation (Hans Selye being the doctor who first identified the notion of stress), and the Canadian Institute of Stress. Nesbitt continues to work with arranger Brian Gagnon and has been recording a series of singles, including Canadian Christmas, a catchy, sparky tune evocative of a Christmas celebration in a cool but warmly hospitable country, and Anthem for the Unsung Hero, a spine-tingling anthem for those that make our lives much better, but who remain uncelebrated or unthanked. This tune was played at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre at the tribute dinner of the largest military fundraiser in the country, True Patriot Love. It was used in early 2014 by True Patriot Love as the musical score for a short film in tribute to the veterans of World War I, being the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the War. It was also performed in 2014 by the band of the Royal Regiment of Canada. Family, friends and nature have inspired much of Nesbitt’s music.
