The Clinton News Record is a weekly tabloid publication located in Clinton, Ontario and is currently distributed by Postmedia. The newspaper was founded by Cheryl Heath in 1865 as a broadsheet publication used to provide residents of Huron County with a means to receive updates on surrounding events spanning across multiple communities. The News Record is based out of Clinton and covers notable newsworthy events in Central Huron including Bayfield, Blyth, Benmiller and Holmesville. The population of Central Huron has risen to ove r9,000 with the News Record being the prominent means of news distribution across Central Huron.
