I too had a nightmare experience with Frank of Beldeco. Building a deck and putting dormers to extend wall space of my third floor, resulted in having to completely demolish the entire floor and rebuild, due to the countless mistakes that Frank made. His boastful promises of custom work and the many skills he has, resulted in a catastrophic outcome, costing me money that will keep me in debt for years. To remove him from the premises required police, lawyers, tow trucks and garbage removal companies. Two years later, I am finally finishing my house properly with amazing work being done. I also encourage people to stay away from this very unstable person who has great difficulty with taking responsibility for promises made, professional communication with both clients and other trades, telling the truth, and accuracy and completion of work. His sociopathic behaviour includes constant abusive language, misogynistic attitudes, and extreme narcissism.

The whole project has been a nightmare. The contract was a real joke : the owner came to my house with a computer and had me write down the stuff he would do. No details whatsoever or breakdown of costs and he refused to add a finish date on it. After being posponed for 2 months, the work finally started. It took Frank (the ower and SOLE WORKER) more than 100 DAYS to produce an unfinished bathroom. Indeed, he left without completing the job. I ended up losing a lot of money in the project because he kept asking for cheques and the work wasn't actually getting done. To make a long story short, he was ok the first 2-3 weeks, then all hell broke loose. He started showing up around noon to work only a couple hours. He said he was ill, but I suspect he was working on another project. I asked him to hire someone to make the project come along faster but he refused because he said nobody can work as good as him and he doesn't have time to train them. He became very agressive, negative and was making me feel very unconfortable when around him. He really doesn't have any respect for woman. He kept bringing his dog to the house and left "surprises" from the dog inside and outside the house. He was rude and yelled and sworn at me a few times. I tried to fire him because nothing was getting done, but he threatened me. Then forced me to pay more money otherwise he would "take actions". So much that I had to go to the police. When he finally left on his own (accusing me of hiding parts so he couldn't finish the project and threatening to put a lean on my house), I had other crews come in and inspect his work. NOTHING was up to code and they had to demolish half of what Beldeco had done to make it functional before they could finish it all. Some parts were broken, others missing. He was using cheap materials to keep the costs down for him. So it did end up costing me a lot of money to have things that were done by Beldeco fixed and working properly. Please, stay away from this guy. I don't want anybody else having to go through this. Don't listen to his sweet talking pretending he will do the best job you have ever seen. He praises himself of doing Custom work. It is true... Because he breaks everything he touches, so nothing looks like it should!
