Alias Dance Project’s Education & Outreach Mandate
Alias Dance Project is committed to educating youth living in urban and rural areas. They believe that through sharing their art form they can provide an invaluable experience that will help build confidence, pride and self esteem. Alias strives to build a safe environment for free expression, uninhibited movement and lots of fun. Using methods that emphasize collaboration, they encourage dialogue and together with their students they work to build a sense of community in positive and encouraging ways.


We’re excited about March Break! Alias Dance Project has collaborated with several Toronto artists across various disciplines to share our experiences and build new ones with you. We’ve created programs that invite youth to explore, expand and develop their understanding and participation in the arts.

Creative Kids (ages 4 – 5)
This camp will inspire young imaginations and creativity. Through the exploration of dance, voice, theatre and visual art, students will leave feeling confident and excited about creating! Ages: 4-5 Years.
Cost:
Half Day, Morning 9:00am-12:00pm: $249.00 + HST
Half Day, Afternoon 1:00pm-4:00pm: $249.00 + HST
Daily Classes:
Ballet & Creative Movement alternating daily with Funky Jazz & Hip Hop
Song & Dance alternating daily with Acting Fun
Acro Dance & Stretch
Visual Art and Drawing
Story Time alternating daily with Playtime

Dance, Sing, Act, Grow. Create! (Ages: 6-7 Years, 8-10 Years, 11+ Years)
This camp has been designed to give children interested in performing arts an opportunity to invest a focused period of time exploring dance, theatre, voice and visual art. Students will study with many different professional artists and teachers from all over Toronto in the following courses: Contemporary Dance, Dancing Animals, Dance Improvisation, Kaeja Elevations (for ages 8+), Urban Dance Styles, Contemporary Jazz Dance, Contemporary Ballet Dance, Theatre Imagination Station, Theatre Improv 101 and Theatre Games. Students will also take Singing and Visual art classes throughout the week. Ages: 6-7 Years, 8-10 Years, 11+ Years

Cost:
Full Day: $399.00 + HST, 9am-4pm Monday to Friday
Half Day: $249.00 + HST, 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm

Dance Intensive Camp (Ages 9+ with 2 years dance experience)
This camp is for students ages nine years and older, with at least two years of dance experience who are interested in taking their dance training to the next level. Students will have the opportunity to study with an elite selection of professional dancers and teachers from all over Toronto in the following courses: Contemporary, Kaeja Elevations, Improvisation, Dancing Animals, Contemporary Ballet, Contemporary Jazz, Contemporary Urban Styles, Hip Hop, Breakdance, House Dance, Yoga and Conditioning.

Cost:
Full Day: $449.00 + HST, 9am-4pm Monday to Friday
Half Day: $275.00 + HST, 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm
