The Teen Challenge Canada Thrift Store is new way to help local men and women find freedom from life-controlling addictions. Teen Challenge Canada has just launched a 11,000 square foot thrift store on 1200 Commissioners Road East, London, Ontario in the Pond Mills Mall (beside Food Basics and Dollarama). The store is about more then just getting good deals at thrift store prices. It is about serving our community and helping local men and women overcome substance addictions to lead full and productive lives. Your purchase of used clothing, housewares, furniture etc. will fund our faith-based addiction treatment program at the Teen Challenge Ontario Men’s Centre in Lambeth, ON (just outside London). Some of the 65 men who are recovering from addictions, during our year-long program, will do work placements at the store and as these men sort, fix, shelve and sell used donated items, they will learn new or improve existing job skills, gaining experience as they promote the business.
