Eighth Avenue Place is a twin office tower project to be built on the former site of Calgary's historic Penny Lane Mall. The project initially kept the Penny Lane name, however it has since been renamed. Concerns have been raised over the destruction of the 94-year-old Penny Lane Mall, however the City of Calgary approved the project in March 2006.
